sup gents.....

just a little update, after many nights on the couch and selling various children ( atleast the neighbourhood is quieter ) ive take the plunge as far as rims are concerned.

initially wanted to use M4 reps or the Mperformance 405M if im correct aka theses two....

so even though the couch is tiny and i need to stick one leg on the floor so i dont roll off.....i think it was for the best

225/35/19 bridgetone RFTs in the front and Pirelli 245/30/19 RFTs in the back.

i would have preferred bridgestones all round but apparently they dont make them in that size.

so what you guys think?

apologies in advance if i should have created a new thread.

@RAArmstrong want to lower front by 10-15mm but dont know how to do this with MP. M performance lowering kit is 16k ex labour and thats 20mm all round.

@ China hope to be at a hook up soon

@China as far as i know these are 0.08 3sdm reps

ACS is alot cheaper.

Why did you fit rfts? Are those rims even rft compatible?

sup diesel......in all honesty....i didnt know what ACS is/was or what it covers.

one of the posts i commentes on mentioned ACS and i was told it covers what MP doesnt.....but TBH i still dont know.

and yup, rims are RFT compatible.....i know this cos it says so on the box and i havw it in writing.

but id really appreciate it if you could talk me through ACS, how to get it etc.

my first bimmer so ive a lot to learn....i couldnt resist the wheels so i gottem

ACS is on of the approved bmw tuning companies. Their parts are expensive because as far as I know they cover things bmw won't of the part is deemed to have caused it. There is no additional admin with this. Bmw claim from them as far as I know.

Speak to Moranor he sells ACS stuff with all the paperwork for motor plan. Or you can get them from the dealer. But they will probably be a bit more expensive. Should be around 7k for springs.
