Service and maintenance

Howzit. Has anybody used Nige Auto in Benoni for repairs or servicing? I know he uses only BM parts and his labour rates seem reasonable as far as I know. Is Nigel maybe a fanatic as well?

I noticed that BM dealer in Springs is cheaper than Midas on engine oil and air filter for my E46 320d. Are the GUD filters worth using?

Hi just a question why don't you service it yourself.
I use gud filters they good. However recently was advised to rather get the oil filter, air filter and Fuel filter from bmw. The oil most people order from moranor on the forum and he delivers to your door. We use luiqi molly. I trust everyone here says and they say its good so I use it.

Service is quick. Takes about an hour and half.

Sorry I know its off topic but just thought I would share. The nice thing about doing it yourself is you can inspect if other things needs to be done. Also take care of ur car. I once gave someone my car to service and the messed it up.

Hi,

I have no experience with Nige Auto, but I know of quite a few people and motor dealerships from Benoni thats uses them and are very happy. So I guess he must be doing something right.

Also heard of Racing Snake through the forum. Maybe one of the other members have more info.

Lessons learned ............. rather take to a reputable service guy. There is a few in jhb, just saying.

LM top tec 5 W 40 only oil i use :thumbs: like Clifton said
