Scrap piece Plasti-dip look/ Carbon fibre weave wanted

I had a conversation with Dario (DEMON performance exhaust) who manufactures our exhaust tips for us.

At the moment they are doing chrome tips, and he is starting to do "special" orders for me whereby he is no providing the Gloss Black Chrome look by utilizing powder coat method.

I asked him if could produce the Carbon Fibre weave look, as there seems to be a demand for them.....and currently he says no,

but he is willing to expirement with "Off-Cuts" to see if he can get that Carbon weave effect, but providing a quality "heat resistant coating" over the top.

I said that I would ask the forum-ites on, where to get hold of some small scrap pieces for him to use in his experimental attempts.

Process
1) Come to the shop,
2) Choose the tip size and style
3) We either give these tips back to DEMON, or they use a "fresh" one and do the Powder coat application,
4) Cost approx R50 to R80 extra over the normal price
5) Delivery back at the shop approx 2 days later
6) Return for fitment
7) Smiles all round

Ralf try get hold of AMT composites.

They sell real carbon as well as kevlar fiber. See if they wouldnt be able to help you out with a small sample.
