Those clearance problems with the calipers have been resolved.
All I needed was some inspiration which I got by meditating next to the white Z3.........
Used 18mm spacers behind the disc
Discs are 330mmX28mm semi floating.
Pads are Ferodo Racing
Setup just fits under the wheel with enough clearance for the balancing weights.
I need to run the pads in before I test for brake efficiency so will give feedback in roughly 300Kms.
Studs?? On a BMW? how did you manage? How do you secure the studs from turning in the hub?

not sure what Peter used but H&R sell studs to do the job they have a 'bank' spot on the thread so you cant turn them in too deep and also come with thread locker applied
