So all you guys with relatively respective looking E30's, time to mothball the car for the next 20 years

E30 M3's and maybe 333i will become classics, but there were just too many produced of the rest, I doubt that they will ever fetch serious money.

Forgetting the 325is are we ? That are already fetching some serious money :fencelook:

No, I just don't know how many were made, thus the omission. And I don't think they will ever get close to E30 M3 money, but the 333i might if it gets noticed more.

But one thing is certain, older BMW's are getting expensive!
Interestingly enough, I have never even seen 2002 Turbo's that cost this much. They are more in the 40,000 Euro range. But IF the economy doesn't collapse again, they will rise quite quickly in the coming years I suspect.

That is beautifully restored. Car looks seriously factory fresh. Yes Sirs, special BMW's from the 70's and 80's are starting to be noticed by collectors, and prices are radically climbing. I was shocked the other day to hear that a seriously tatty MLE recently sold in Germany for very close to R200k. And it still needs a full restoration. SA specials are especially sought after in Europe now, so watch 333i, 325is, E23 745i prices go through the roof in the very near future.

There is a stunning example, much like this at Hamptons cars in Bryanston!

That "iS" is a Shadowline at most. 4 whole suspension

The Hamptons car is NOWHERE NEAR the car this 2002ti is. It is a quick respray(With overspray on the window washer pipe, I mean really?) and recovered seats just for a quick buck.
