Ok, old carpet and the back is out, underneath is clean, and the carpet is ready to go in again, a new one that is.

And another update.......

Carpets are all back in
Back door handles are in
Passenger side doors are cleaned

And then the problem, both back door window guides have rusted and rusted badly........struggled to get the bottom screws out.

And the going is slow.

Have started putting the interior bits and pieces back in.

The 10 speaker HiFi is proving a challenge. All wires have been cut, but I am making progress. Will do a write up on the HiFi. To date all 10 speaker cables are identified, labelled and tested.....now the boot is starting to look neat again.

Today was a successful spares day, found a 540i, that had the 10 speaker hifi system in, and the scrapyard did not cut any of the cables. Half the harness is fitted already
