The update is to upgrade the MySQL database to a newer version which will reduce query times to the database. This will increase overall speed.

Down time starts this evening at 22h00 to midnight.

This will solve the issues we have had with the server traffic spiking during mid day.

Using cellphone for browsing & moderating is not so effective. :thumbs:

You can't make you tube videos fullscreen when viewing off the forum. You have to open YouTube. Also not so much of an error but when you login on the home screen it doesn't register you as logged in only when you have clicked the forum home page. I also suggest a forum tab be added at the top of the homepage instead of the small link

I don't experience this. Maybe clear your cache and reset cookies etc.

Correct. Youtube fullscreen does not work from the forum for me either.

I was thinking could we perhaps add a "News Forum" under the General Forum as I and other members re-post/share a lot of news article (that may not be related to cars, but general news) and the "Off Topic Lounge" doesn't seem to be the place?

Just a suggestion, I have no problem if everyone feels that the Off Topic Lounge is perfectly suitable :thumbsup:

Uh oh.... I know what's happened.

LZ requested his advertiser status to be changed and therefore the DentDoc forum is gone.

This is quite a pickle. Will see what can be done :thumbs:
