Sometimes gmail would automatically put email in spam or even block them completely if they are from a certain email address. Gmail decides this all on it's own. You need to go to Settings and add [email protected] under Filters and mark it to never send our emails to spam.

I don't really think this is the issue, but this could help us get closer to the problem whether this makes a difference or not.

Well it was probably the issue nic. So I just followed your advice and 2 minutes later received an email notification from this thread when jandre replied.

It seems that the emails were in the spam folder and were automatically put into the folder. I found it strange that I haven't been receiving emails from thursday night.

I'm pretty sure the issue is resolved now as my email notifications is coming through now.

Cool. Usually gmail is pretty good an deciding what is spam and what isn't, but sometimes it gets it wrong.

That said, I have noticed that if you delete emails without opening them first gmail will eventually start to put them into spam. Gmail assumes they spam as you just delete them without reading.

And in this case they got it wrong. I don't normally delete emails so I still say its strange that I was not receiving notifications.

PM limits are set per group, not per user. Right now it's 500. Even if we make it 1500 it will eventually fill and then you just end up with more PM's to work through and sort out... ask me, I know :mmm: Every now and again I sit down and start sorting through mine and it can easily take up to 2 hours.

When you do clear some PM's, also clear the sent items :thumb:

My PM box was on 75% or something a few weeks back.

I think I only kept one, and deleted the rest. And deleting all from the sent folder cleared up more space than cleaning up the inbox folder :fencelook:
