MWEB has informed its ADSL subscribers that their international bandwidth via Seacom is affected as a result of multiple local fibre breaks.

The problems seem to have started shortly after 13:00 on Thursday 27 June, with MWEB ADSL subscribers reporting slow international browsing and high packet loss to international servers.

MWEB said that the Seacom system is to blame, adding that technicians are attending to these problems.

MWEB is diverting all international traffic via WACS (West Africa Cable System).

It's weird 'cos I'm receiving notifications about replies to this thread. So the board's functions seems to work. Try adding an exception for [email protected] in gmail.
