I was stating my personal opinion, and that is that for a little piece of rubber and plastic, R150 is a lot of money. If people are prepared to pay R150 for it, good on them. I feel its over priced and quite straight forward to make yourself and works just as well.

So follow the advice given, and manufacture the product cheaply, but still retaining the quality, and mass produce, and then sell to us on the forum for a bargain. :dunno:

as long as your time, the nuts, bolts and washers are all free, then your comments may be understandable.

i know i pay for all those things, and my time is precious. my clients pay me a whole lot more than R150 an hour.

I have better things to do with my time then start manufacturing that. If you really feel that my post was out of line, you can delete it. I was just expressing that i personally feel that R150 is a lot of money and for people like me who are not prepared to spend that, they can make their own.

Guys I feel michaelniszl made a valid point, he just stating his opinion which he is allowed to. I actually belive that when you buy someting from Twinz you getting quality. He has better things to do than to make these small thingys for us people who want it. He is entitled to charge what he feels like, its his time.

I have one in my car and its still in 100% condition with no signs of wear.

I feel it was worth the price:thumbs:

That's good on you! And its kinda obvious that if I have thousands of nuts and bolts lying around, i am not directly paying for them with regards to using them on the clutch stop. But somewhere along the line they were bought at a fraction of a cost of R150. Just thought you would have managed to work that out.

michael. what you could have said is

"for those people who are handy and have some time on their hands, you can make use of some nuts, bolts and washers and make something based on this concept". and then given us some sort of guide on how to do it.

that would be helpful to the forum. members could then have an option to make their own (lower quality) or buy one from Rennzport (high quality).

out of respect, i would also not have posted in the advertisers space, but rather on general forum.

unfortunately your post was just wrong, :sorry:

I was not meaning any disrespect to Rennzport, i just just commenting on his product. I did not steal the thread and post pictures of other ones or links to mine. If you had been a bit more civil about how you approached me and pm'd me and told me why u think i did this or that wrong, I would have edited my post and apologised if i felt i was in the wrong.

I dont think there is anything wrong with questioning price points. It happens on other vender sub forum as well where members barter for better pricing etc...i have no issue with that.

It is just the way you made your initial point, commenting on a post that was made in 2011...thats all.
