Hey guys! got an 07' e92 with keyless entry and the remote doesnt respond at all.gotta use the key to enter and lock.had this issue for about two weeks now and for last couple of days the passenger side door occasionally jams up. i google'd the issue and read that it could be a whole host of things from fuses, actuators or the remote itself.Initially i figured it was the battery on the remote.has anyone else experienced the same prob? any ideas on how to overcome it or how to re program the remote? would prefer a diy fix without taking it to the dealers (sw,dp's,intake,u guys know the drill ) Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

I get this problem now and then. There is a fuse box in the cubby hole. Can't remember which it is but it normally is burnt. There is a SIB on this where they increase the amperage of the fuse and it doesn't happen anymore. Its a bitch to get to the fuse as its on the left top hand corner if I recall correctly.

Hi, if you want to find out if it is the Key battery, I would suggest you use your spare key, if it works then it is definitely your key battery. I changed mine a few months back and is working fine now. Glueing the key back together did not come out perfectly but it does the work.
To program do the following:

Put the working key in the ignition. Turn to position 2 for like 1 second then back and remove the key.

Press and hold the "unlock" button then press the "lock" button 3 times, you should hear all the locks cycle through.

Now take the non working key and press and hold the "unlock" button then press the "lock" button 3 times.

Then turn the ignition on and off again to end the programming....

Hope it all works out fine.
