Space is limited, i can get a fist between turbo and radiator, the manifold is a bit closer at the top. We will see how it goes.

And share some pics of that one you refering to:=):

I will look for some pics of mine, I don't think you will have issues then, I had less room to play around with.

She has started up , all is good. I removed the engine and stripped it apart, sent the block in to skim the deck.

Put everything back together after a heat up start to check for leaks i found a leak that seemed to be water coming out between the block and head to the outside, i removed the head and installed a normal carbon gasket, after heating up the same happened but found that it was a water pipe behind the head.

Now still a few things to do.

1. Relocate radiator fan
2. Upgrade brakes
3. Wiring and programming Dicktator ECU.
4. Exhaust
5. Charge Pipes
6. Piggy bag fuel pumps.
7. Modify and spray front bumper.
8. Replace front doors
9. Replace rear Bumper

So she is up and running currently. Running Std management and std Injectors for now, will run like this for about 1000 Km then i will start with the mods on the nose for the Intercooler and the plumbing..... Cannot wait to go boosted, have done about 100 Km and all looking good, had some issues here and there with hoses, replaced them and went on. It has been a journey so far , the build started in Nov 2016 , learnt a lot during the build and glad i did not give up. Will update shortly after running in.

So we are boosting now, had a few issues with wiring, got it sorted quickly and got it road tuned, can drive with it for now but waisting time to go into boost, the clutch is slipping big time. Waiting for some off time again to pull the motor, I have a suspicion they messed up the flywheel when they skimmed it.

Still a lot of work to be done cosmetically, will get to that on a later stage.

When we get there, I'll make one and post it here, for now I have to be patient, unfortunately.:smilebounce:

I do have a passion for this car, also hats off for her, she went through a lot together with me and always remained by my side, her first "dump" was on 500001 Km.

Last week Thursday, removed the engine to swop out flywheel and clutch kit, was slipping for the first three days but seemed to stop. The flywheel that came out will be sent in later this week together with clutch kit to make me a button clutch.( Double work yes but this flywheel was balanced together with the crank assembly so it need to go back in) This coming Friday afternoon will do some final road tuning. Did about 3000 Km so far, everything looks to be holding up quite nicely, Hopefully by next week will be able to pick up the boost and have some proper fun.

Made two short clips, she is pulling nicely, still place for improvement, she lags quite a lot between shift changes, that might change if i get the "bigger" flywheel back and we still need some fine tuning. It feels good to go boosted finally.

:bravo: patience paid off  how much boost you going to be running 0.9? sounds good. How's the torque steer on the car?

Torque steer is there, with the lighter flywheel it is not that bad but if it can catch you off guard, it can end up in a mess.
We got it tuned up to 1 bar, a bit scared to go higher now, injectors or pump also holding a bit back. Want to try 750cc injectors later, and still need to piggy the fuel pump, currently running internal pump alone.
