Hi peeps

About to get the my first bummer

Took a 325i non vans and man it pulls hard

Only issue is when changing gear there is a rear clunk.
I have searched and it says that the problem is with the rear sub frame

The seller says it's the bushes

If the frame is damaged is this expensive

What type of costs should I be aware of

getting this car at a really good price. So please let me know

Thanks

Rear subframe fix is between R8000 to R10 000 and has to be done by someone who knows what hes doing. Could also be diff bush. In my case it was the rear subrame

Yeah check the diff bush, they tear up real nicely and also makes a clunk on reverse

That's a common problem with the age of the e36's the bushes go bust especially RTAB. There's a lot of DIY on the net to help you sort this out or you can contact Gizmo on the forum who'll help you sort it out.

Good luck with sorting it out!
