Rattling sound after fitting DP

Hi Guys

I fitted a downpipe on my 125i F20 and i've noticed this loud rattling sound on every cold start and then it goes away when the engine is warm, any ideas what could be the problem?

Have your installer check it again, either the v-band clamp could be loose, or maybe your dp does not have a bracket that the oem one had to mount, ask him to replicate one.

Could be the exhaust flap rattle or the exhaust was not mounted back correctly.

Thanks for info guys, I was at NoiseBoys this morning and they noticed one bolt was loose and adviced I should have the engine mounting checked as they couldn't at that time.

Is there any good mechanic I can take it to around Midrand?

They do however have a waiting list.

Interesting - just a thought that my situation is the exact opposite. The cats are rattling inside, making one massive noise that irritates the hell out of me. They need to be removed so will be getting it done soon. I hope a loose cat/dpf doesn't cause damage at all.
