R92,000 FOR 25,000 KM

Basically motorplan will look at your cars history and quote accordingly, they dont give a rats ass if the problem stemmed from poor design :shakehead:

On my 2005 E90 325i with 92 000kms, they quoted about R14 000 for 20 000kms plus another year extension. My motorplan claim totaled R90 000.

my e46 m3 smg cost R4000 to extend 1 yr and about R4200 for another yr with no mileage extension!!!
sold it wit 82000km, never gave smg hassles....

Sell the car and get a manual M3

SMG's are hard to find in scrapyards etc

When you go performance, you have to go manual

Had a friend with a 4.8IS X5, Gbox cost him R125k...................

Otherwise drive it till it breaks, drop in a LS1 with a charger running a LS1autobox and you will never have problems, or be left in the dust,again
