Update as promised... :tiptoe:
As previously mentioned, the tips were sourced from Rennzport and DP was fabricated and fitted by TMSS (tips also installed by TMSS).
Thanks A LOT gents!!! Really appreciate the excellent service and workmanship!:ty:
Now down to the review...
So after driving the car a few times after fitting the DP this is what I think :rollsmile:
Not owning a modified turbo car before this, I didn't know what to expect. I had a 320i before this but it was bok befok stock...:roflol:
So this is actually the 1st car I'm throwing mods into (and what better car to do so :grin

. Also Youtube vids are a waste because most have kak audio and others just have full exhausts done, so no way to really know what to expect sound wise.
Was slightly nervous but pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Immediately, the sound on cold start had me smiling from ear to ear, much louder but not over the top. On idle, yes, it's not so lekker to the ear but I didn't worry about that at all because it quiets down. Then came the warm revs, even better! Much much more throaty and a deeper tone, absolutely loved it!
Whilst on the road is where I enjoyed it the most:
I immediately started off in manual mode. Although the cabin is still as quiet as before, you can hear the slight crackle and pop at the back on revs and shifts.
So I rolled down the window and started flipping through gears :rollsmile: Didn't pull too harsh because it was new but I pulled to about 4 and 5k a few times. The exhaust was really a lot more audible than before, I didn't expect that much diff with just a DP. And listening to the turbo spool, DAMN!!!:inlove:
I'm no expert but you really feel the difference pulling on lower rev, its got a bit more punch and gets onto boost quicker than before. And it being twin scroll, I suppose it aids in that respect too! When you let off the throttle you get that slight overrun which is nice too :rollsmile:
All in all, really really happy with the work done and parts supplied! The stock DP is heavy too, so some slight weight savings I'd think :roflol:
Oh! And the zorst tips, they've been fitted just right, not too far out or in thus finishing up the rear of the car quite nicely IMO! :inlove:
Now for the pics :=):
The DP, Aftermarket vs Stock:
The look from the rear :inlove:
EDIT: Youtube vids below :rollsmile: (will take better vids as I go along)
