Quick Road trip .... Langebaan Pics!!

It was a quick trip to Langebaan...
Had to get to office to put a client's new Prado on his insurance and send confirmation to the dealer, so he could drive it away from the dealer......
So here's some pics taken with my BB.
The driver..... sticking to the speed limit.

We live in a absolutely stunning piece of this land of ours!!
Fortunate ones!!!
I have some nice memories from this place where I did part of my national service...
Dropped my son off just off this street.
Fuel consumption was 9.3L/100km till here.
This was restricted area in 1987... no "civies" were allowed.
Many "rowers" (irrespective of rank) had to swim from the Ferry on their first day at the island.
Good friend of mine drowned here in the current, while the Strike Craft still used to moore here. (went after a frisbie)

Look at this consumption!!!! What a pleasure!!!! Very close to Paarl now.
Between LangebaanRoad and Hopefield I got stuck in behind a Mazda6 for about 20kms... and the Mazda was Zoom,Zooming flat-out. I won't normally do that but it was one of those guys who just didn't care about any cars on the road.
He just pushed everyone into the shoulder (yellow line) and went past. I stayed behind him a fair distance as his driving was scary and I was contemplating on what to do next, when he luckily turned off on a minor road after about 20km's.
He must've been in a rush for the rugby.
This is about 7km's from my house... I have caught some nice Carp here last year...
