Could be a number of things.
Got any time sheets?
Possibly down to your 60ft
Over-revving through the gears could cost you a 10th or 3 if you keep taking the car to 7k rpm.

hey Bud
I have Launch Control
And change between 5000-5500 to keep ca in power band

Dont have 60ft times
But i think they are decent as i generally keep up with Jacques on launch

Also run the Bridgestone Semi Slicks at the back

im running stock turbos N54, 12.4 and 241 1km on street tyres

Yeah But remember Tom
135 is lighter than a saloon 335i coupe

awesome times never the less

Actually bud, this has been discussed. There is only a couple of kgs difference between the two.
if i recall, the 335 is something like 70kgs heavier than the 135.

70kgs is a lot and makes a differance for 1/4 mile time
especially if the two cars are making similar power

That 70kgs seems to make a big difference. if you had to put in like for like mods on each car with identical engines and transmissions, would the 135i not be ahead because to the weight difference?

Taking driving ability out of the equation.

On stock turbos I ran 12.3 at Tarlton with full weight. Making around 385whp.
With the RB's again full weight I ran 11.9 and around 435whp.

On the 1km I ran 251 on the stock turbos with 420whp.

If you dont get your 60ft down to 1.7 sec or lower you going to battle to run good times so its all in the launch and not really in the power. Best I have pulled is a 1.6 60ft but on that run I peeled the tires at the top of second so it ruined a run that looked like it was heading in the mid 11's.

Geez you can peddle a car...

what sort of tires were on? that LSD seems to be worth its weight in gold...

best 60ft i ever got was 1.9 something...

please explain what you mean by peeled the tire? whats your launch technique?

peeled refers to smoking the tires, i.e. breaking into wheel spin :=):
