power steering issues

wassup guys

my E39 has been giving me some issues
first the expansion bottle burst,then the radiator and thermostat housing...and last week was the brakes


managed to replace all that myself


but now it has a bad power steering leak

i picked up the usual bm fault where those 2 pipes leak under the power steering bottle and replaced the clamp at the p/s pump...

the leak seems to be coming from the rack

do they have seals that can be repaired? or would i need a new rack?

any i can take it to in JHB that wouldnt want my left kidney as well

Wingate can recondition your rack, cost R1800 for an E39 528i about 8 months ago. Number is in the CAR Magazine or White/Yellow Pages.

Did a new pump at Canadian Motors in Krugersdorp for R3300 for my E46. Google the name you'll get the details.

Might do the racks as well?
