Howzit guys

Just a quick question.
I have found a 335i that ticks all of the boxes except the mileage which is around 120 000km. Is it foolish to buy a model with mileage this high?
I got some quick extended warranty/service plan quotes and I will be looking at between R500 and R1000 a month.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Devon.

Have a look at the repair history. See for any reoccurring faults.

DCTs are awesome....They can be expensive if it needs repairs.

N54 has its fair shares of issues. Water pump.....Injectors....HPFP. 2010 should have had the recall for HPFP done.

I just got mine for 3 months now with 70k on the clock.

First week battery died. Had to get that replaced. 3rd week injectors went. 32k to replace all 6. Luckily my car is on motorplan.

N54 is like a love hate kind of thing. You love it and if you can afford to pay if anything goes then go ahead.

Im honestly loving mine......

Eish I will definitely need to check the history.
VW tried to sell me a brand new golf 7 gti but I'd rather have the 335.
Thanks guys I will revert back if there any issues on the vehicle check.

Sorry guys it is not DCT. I thought the paddles = DCT

I'm waiting for the dealer to call me back regarding the vehicle

Be sure to see Gert from OBDWorx for an Alpina flash if you get the car bro.

I've had my n54 since 2011... Car is doing 110'000km now and still going strong. Check if injectors/coil packs/ hpfp/ water pump was replaced recently which cuts down the likelihood of you needing to replace those items in the near future.

Ive got a 2006 335i N54.

It just hit 150 000km. I got it on 145 000km a year ago, I dont pamper the car and the only problems I have had was the waterpump going.

The previous owner also had the car modded and raced it often, its reliable and not "that" expensive to repair if something goes out of motorplan, luckily the turbos and clutch was replaced before the purchase.
