Last week Thursday I was fortunate to re-visit one of my clients to detail not only his Mitsubishi Pajero but also his Porsche 911 Turbo with his VW MK5 Golf GTI being pampered next week.
However, todays write up is focused on his Porsche 911 Turbo which was booked in for my Showroom Enhancement Package, a single day package dedicated at restoring the Showroom Shine to any car of any age.
The car was quite clean on arrival but as usual, we started off with a quick foam and hand wash thereafter.
The engine bay soaking in APC whilst the foam was left to dwell for a moment before rinsing.
The car was toweled dry and pulled into the garage for a two stage polish (Two passes & refine). Unfortunately I was unable to get any pictures of the paint defects - Not to worry though as there were virtually non to report.
A few pictures after the car was polished with Pro Polish and refined with Ultimate Compound:
The Porsche was then pulled outside for a final wash and dry before receiving two layers of Chemical Guys XXX Hardcore Wax. This is a wax I really love because of the smell, texture and results it gives with virtually no effort.
The final touches were made to the exterior with mag wheels getting a single coat of Rim Wax, tyres and rubbers receiving a layer of trim dressing and the exhausts cleaned up. Glass was cleaned with Autoglym Glass Cleaner and a coat of Wet Butter Wax was applied to further improve gloss.
The interior was wiped down, leather moisturized with Smart leather Conditioner and dials, mirrors and gloss finishes buffed to a subtle shine.
Notice the difference a good Leather Conditioner makes? The drivers seat is treated whilst the passenger seat remained untreated.
Satisfied with the results the Porsche was pulled outside and some final pictures were taken.
I thoroughly enjoyed this detail and I hope you enjoyed reading it too.
