PIGGYBACK VS ECU FLASH

Wow, what a topic! So much input, so little time. I have personally installed around 15 piggies on N54's over the years. & flashed many, many more than that. Each has it's pro's & cons. George is on the right track though, especially with the MSD81 which calculates airflow.

lol this is confusing. On friday i was leaning towards piggy but now chiplogic flash is sounding good, thanks for the advice george. i spoke to ob, and he advised for the 1bar boost map. This is the same map my bro had.

Off to a good start, but 1 bar is only the beginning of the potential of the 135...all the best

actually got a white e92 335i 2008 m-sport, sold the 135, same engine, same capabilities though. Thanks to everybody who contributed vital information. So far these are my plans, ordered the vmr wheels from revo vb3 silver 8.5 and 10. revo now sending me down the white bulbs for angel eyes and fogs and obviously o.b flash, will go to josi in about two months or so for it. After this maybe in the future exhaust, downpipes, ac schnitzer springs. So i'm quite excited. Thanks again guys.

You on the right track especially with doing the downpipes second to the chip. After that I would look at a intercooler and then finally the exhaust. I would leave a induction system as the last resort as it hardly makes any power and only above 1 bar. Look into a LSD if you into spirited driving. Excede offers decently priced solutions without going through the self importation rigmarol.
