Hi Guys

Just checking if any one has had a performance exhaust fitted to a 323i (E90) and if there has been any improvement in performance? If so which make? Any advice? Thanks

Most of the time there will be an improvement with an aftermarket performance exhaust on any car:

1. Sound may be better or just loud.
2. A freer flow. Stock exhausts are normally tight due to noise and emission restrictions.
3. The power increase may be minimal or zero if it is only the rear muffler thats been replaced. Bigger gains are in decatting the exhaust.
4. Best results is full freeflow and decatted exhaust WITH a tune/chip/remap.

thanks very much. Does a decat not interfere with any sensors though? Where is a good place to have a decat done? Powerflow? Guess it depends on where you live.

I had my decat done @ powerflow in edenvale. Mine is a E90 320i. It made a big differince. Only thing is they re connected the o2 sensor in the wrong place, but that i had sorted @ tunetech, But the computer didn't complain
