hey guys and gals.
there has been much debate among the e39 m5 owners about Liqui Moly GT1 10W60 racing oil.I went ahead and bought some for my cars service.
I did the oil change yesterday and honestly,if you compare the GT1 to The TWS they look identical.Performance wise i cant really say anything bad about this oil but ive only ridden 20km so far but as far as i can gather the car almost feels smoother(this can also be due to the fact that i changed spark plugs yesterday aswelll).
One thing i did notice was the the oil reaches operating temp slightly quicker than the TWS.....Dont know if this is good or Bad
I have been in contact with himlier from the m5board overseas and his car has over 400 000 kms on the clock and he started using the GT1 and he rates the oil as great. He couldnt stop talking about how much cheaper it was compared to the TWS...
Will keep u updated on this subject
