oil in the intake

hi guys i have an issue with oil being collected in the intake manifold. i have a standard air intake and i know forced induction cars do breathe but if i clean it today its back tomorrow. its also found in the intercooler.

my concern is i also have a faulty iat sensor, put it on the bosch system and found that the intake temps @ idle on hot day reads 75 degrees with a voltage of 3.43v. how do i know what are the right values and if i have to replace it.

replaced the intercooler boots with silcone ones and the supercharger seems to be screaming but the car is not going anywhere

car seems to hesitate from the word go to 3500rpm or coming out of the corner in 2nd gear is pathetic

any suggestions??

thanks

i had the car with the unichip but took it out recenlty since the car was going mad. the car runs better with the factory stock map with 15% pulley and 440cc injectors, seems weird.

i need to find the problem since i want to get a proper tune from xcede.

That is normal on all R53's. That's why I installed an oil catch can. The sensor is a few hundred bucks and easy to replace.

get a catch can :) it will stop the oil getting on to the intake and effectively lowering the octane of your fuel so performance gain to be had also...

And a catch tank is an easy install, I still have mine that came off my car. Worked like a bomb.
