210 pics...2 of 2 different cars that left the event launching with some tyre smoke...lets focus on that...

The Garage was located next door to the venue and honestly, whilst I haven't burnt rubber on my own cars, I don't look down on those who do it with their own cars (in a manner where they not gonna cause damage or harm to bystanders or others vehicles)

I'm of the notion, everyone is different, and enjoy their cars in differenr ways. Some love diy, some love cleaning everything from top to bottom, some love detailing and others like to launch their cars. I feel as a community and as part of the bigger automotive industry, whilst an individual doesnt have to agree with the action of others (as in the picture above) , one should repsect another person doing what he wants with his car if his enjoying it.

Theres was NO launching/spinning or tyres on the parking lot of the venue itself. Bigger events draw bigger crowds, such is the way things go. Im pleased to say that I'm under the impression that all those that attended SEEMED happy, if not you welcome to PM me and we can see how to improve things.

I assume that those that are so upset that someone decided to waste his own tyres, that he paid for with his own money, that you guys were also at the event and witnessed this ludicrous behaviour first hand?

Also, for the record, the owner of that M5 is friends with the owner of the M235i. So I don't think he gave a flying sh*t

In the days of Mr Arbee, it was acknowledged, that this sort of "show-boating" will always happen, but in the interests of the BRAND "BMWFanatics.co.za", at an "OFFICIAL" (open to the public) event, such actions should not be tolerated...

While the spinning and launching might be a problem for some it should also be kept in mind that none of this occurred at the venue (in the time that i was there). Once out of the venue on a public road, the driver is free to do as he/she pleases.

When attending a legal drag racing, track day type of event, are the event organisers held responsible if there is any form of racing just outside the venue?
