I am not so sure about the new M. 450hp is 330kw which is still lower than the current C63. Fair enough you can mod it but BMW will cancel your MP which then leads me to my question, is it not better to supercharge a 4.0 v8 than mod a 3.0 tri turbo if you gonna lose MP anyway ?
And I saw recently that Savspeed have turbo'd an E92.
330Kw is very poor.
The x35 vs M3 debate will continue late into the night because the M3 will continue to be beaten by its lesser siblings. I want a damn fast M3 period...Please wake up BMW engineers. Enough of M3s are built for track debate. We spend our time on the street not the track....eish and so the underpower saga continues.
Where is the days of the e46 M3 that came with a hell of a lot of power for its time....with no excuses.

If bmw don't up their game, the M3 might not be an icon or benchmark by the end of its production run. Next C63 will prob have a deturnned version of the bi-turbo V8, so its going to be a monster. Gonna need more than better handling to hold onto market share
