not sure what oil to use

Hi guys
What is your mind set on shell oil in a 330 I 2003 mod with 194000k's on and what grade would be the best (reason being I'm not so keen on using castrol )

hello Vernon , welcome to the forum .
See the previous discussions on oils , some of us do have preferences , but the kilos of your car also dictate what oil will be better .
What oil has been used before ?
Buying oil from the dealers is not as expensive as you may think .
Putting a thin synthetic oil like a 0-W 40 will most likely lead to oil consumption as the working clearances in the engine are bigger than when the engine was new .
