well, there is another way :) ... but its a more medieval kind of method..
remove the fuel pump fuse, then crank the motor while spraying nitrous in the intake.

be carefull. it works, and sometimes might backfire :)

Hi I had the same problem with my ex E46 318i after I washed the car myself.
I washed the car the Sunday and it would not start and the next morning, the same thing. Eventually the battery went flat from all the swinging.
Then we tow started it and it fired up, then drove the car for a while, switched off and it started fine.

Where have you been all this time Bmw-WP? Poor Donovan was stressing and you had the cure all along.
