Lol, I think the quickest thing they've got in these parts is that Focus ST... Unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's quicker than a 2l Turbo Diesel... I think he's quicker than my 3.0 6pot too:blueCry:

I've seen them do drags down past the Natalia building. . . Not quite what you would consider fast. . . . .

Hope I don't get into crap for saying that. . . .

Don't know the rules about that kind of thing.

The guys on the forum are chilled about it. There's a TLGP (Trafic Light Gran Prix) section which you'll unlock with enough posts. There's even a member who has like 25 years service as a Traffic Officer (Coisman - Hes a top guy, very helpful too).
Where about in PMB are you from? If you dont mind me asking. BTW, we're kinda derailing your thread. lol. Dm's? Or you can even WhatApp me if you want to? I dont mind.

Well it was supposed to be an intro tread so. We are still a little on track. Nice to know that this isn't a deadly serious thread. I'm from the Pelham area. 25 years in age, and tired of not being part of the BMW community. I have seen some of coisman's posts, didn't quite click tho. Seemed like a mech/tech buff. Not a speedo. But anyway. Teaches me for not judging too quick.

I'm from Bombay Heights/Northdale area.
Yeah he's a top man. There are lots of good people in this group, but as always there are a few rotten eggs, but for the most part its all good. Had you been a month earlier you could've joined on the breakfast run. It was epic. I'm sure there'll be plenty of events next year though.

I've noticed there are a lot of helpers around for just about anything. . . Semi-legal. Lol.

I would have loved the breakfast run. Just shows. You don't need a bike to have fun. I'm really Keen and will probably need some help along the line. Considering I'm looking at the auto box. Other than that hopefully it will be all smooth sailing and hopefully I can join in on a lot of trips and events.

Only reason I actually wanted a bike. . . But again, as before, I don't trust myself

I was never into bikes until i started driving in town everyday and watched them splitting lanes while i sat in traffic.

There aren't many other PMB guys here, but there are DBN guys and at the very least you'll get some advice if not actual assistance.
I'm logging off now bud. Cheers. Have a good night:thumbs:

Thanks again and I look forward to the assistance in the future. Hopefully nothing too hectic. All ready have a few things to do, but I'll get there.

Thanks guys. First day and all ready had issues. So I'm trying to sort that out. Seems the factory amp has been changed by the dealership to an aftermarket amp. And yeah. They did a really crap job putting a used amp in the car so I'm just changing that over. Turns out the battery was also changed and nobody tightened the battery bolts up so the terminals came loose. That was fun as this car does not have a key on the boot.

Anyways if anybody has any recommendations of items to service or change. I'm all ears.

Thanks again.

PS. Awesome site you guys have here. Really really helpfull

I'm probably not the best person to ask around here but I'm sure you have fiddled around and looked at a few posts. As I've seen, really really helpful bunch of people with great insight into all things BMW. So from my side welcome to the group.

Best I can tell you is start with an introduction.
Go to home page, scroll and click on new members introduction area. At the top just under the search bar, to the right is an option to crate new topic.

Simple things will get you great answers.
Looking forward to your post. Let me know if you need anything.

Once again. Welcome to the group
