New to the forum but have been dipping in for a while.
I have just gone back to BMW with a 2008 335i (E90). My first BMW was a 1991 318i cabriolet - OMG I loved that car with a passion, especially as a lightie. Always upset I had to get rid of it.
Anyway, back with BMW and so far enjoying the 335i, however I have had some dealer issues with the guy I bought it from.
I was hoping to get some advice on a good mechanic to do oxygen/lambda sensors? Does anyone have an offhand cost to replace these? So I can conclude negotiations with the dealership and move on with my life. Prefereably the mechanic is in the Cape Town CBD or Westlake areas.
Also to try and get a replacement cover for the undercarriage - the part that protects the gearbox on the underside. Sorry not sure of the terms here, but see pic attached.
Once that is done I will want to move on to angel eyes and some other bits and pieces, but first things first!
