Hello guys.

I've just signed up. I'm a first time bmw owner and my ride is a 2016 bmw F30 330i m sport.

Loving it so far except for the rattle from the back door. Hoping the dealer, I bought it from can sort it out. This seems to be a common problem with the F30 and I am a touch disappointed as this is my first bmw.

Anyways.. wanted to say hi to everyone.

With regard to the rattles, I've taken it to auto Bavaria in midrand, service was awful and nothing was even fixed. I've spoken to BMW customer care about the awful service. Don't know if it will make a difference but hopefully service will be better for other guys that take their vehicle there.

The dealer I bought the car from will be picking the car up tomorrow and hopefully they will sort it out.

Went for a nice long drive this weekend and the car really goes well and is surprisingly quiet fun to drive as well. Just want that rattle to go away.

My previous car was a 2013 Focus ST. Really enjoyed that car as well until it was stolen a month ago. BMW is definitely a step up.

And yes, it is a 2litre, 185kw. It replaces the previous 328i in the range.

Bro I had a 2014 328i M-Sport, M-Performance... and the rattles I just ended up having to live with. Not really rattles but squeaks and creaks from the doors, mainly the rears. I know lots of oaks that got their squeaks sorted by BMW. Mainly applying tapes etc to the doors.

Unfortunately this being your first BMW isn't lekker at all. I've had many and they are usually super solid without and squeals or rattles.

I've only had the car for around 2 weeks now. Really good power and is a real beast when in full sport mode (transmission and drivetrain).

Just waiting for to go for a good drive through some twisties to see how it handles.

The new dealer I took it too also managed to sort out the loud rattle. Now and then I still hear it but it's not as loud or as often s before. I'll have to just keep monitoring to see if it gets worse.

So far, I'm happy.
