New Member to soon own a BMW

Howsit all,

I am hopefully going to own a BMW 330D E90 pre-lci before the end of the week. Just need to sign and take delivery. I am in JHB and stay on the West Rand. Once I do have the vehicle, I will post pics. :crazylaugh: .

There are list of visual mods I need to do since the car does not have Xenons, or bluetooth and saw that both can be done quite easily. Will make threads once I have the car and can get advice from everyone on how to do both.

Thanks. I did post another thread as the service history is a bit dodge on the car. It has been serviced with bmw till 97000km, and then with a company called Geofansons Service Centre. Can't find them and was told they closed down. From 97000km to 160000km, it was services with the company above. It is currently with Dave Robinson and the showroom only does the services with him. I hope he will be able to give a decent report on the car if there is any potential issues with the car.

Service should be done today, and a few scratches will be removed tomorrow. Hoping to take delivery tomorrow.

The car is white and looks awesome. It is the E90 sport but not executive so no Xenon, Navi, PDC or Bluetooth. I plan to add the Xenon and Bluetooth since I have found guides on the forum already. Can't wait to start with it. :rollsmile:

Hi and welcome. Don't know if your car is auto or manual,but if it's auto,make sure the sump on the gearbox is not leaking. This could cost you alot of money and headaches. I drive one for just over a year now,lovely and strong car.

It is an auto. Thing is that it is a show room car, so I want to take it for a checkup on Saturday to ensure it does not have any issues like this. If it does, they will have to sort it out.

Should be taking delivery on Friday. :cartel:
