Agreed. That was a broad statement. I was referring to tri -metal bearings.
I am not a bearing expert and stand to be corrected.

Well done Vish, hopefully you dont experience any more issues. The price you paid to get the job done is relatively cheap in comparison to the prices charged by "professionals". :bravo:

what makes them expensive if you dont mind explaining?

The quality of the materials
The quality of the foundry work
The quality and accuracy of the shell before being pushed out to market.

The base of the bearing can contain as little as 2 alloys or as many as 10.
That is typically what is known as proprietary knowledge however the price of a bearing will give you a clue as to how good its base is.
