Love the hellish side mirrors and the interior is stunning...............:thumbs:

I actually like the 4door more, the M4 looks a bit too much like a Pontiac Firebird or Mitsubishi Saturn, with the very sloped roof, completely lost that muscular, macho, chunky look of the E46 M3 with the short overhangs etc. Its starting to look like a whale, the rear bumper is massive! See below!

Yeah they taken the sloped roof to extremes now, it makes the car look more American than German. I can digest a sloped roof, but the E92 was the limit for me. In fact, I think the M4 test mule was mistaken many times for the new Mustang or vice versa when the spy pics where flying around on the net.

It does make the M4 look too long. Make no mistake it is stunning in its own right, but it is starting to look very un-BMW like. I guess the longer wheelbase is to accommodate an M4 Gran Coupe and by looking at the side of the car, it becomes easy to understand how they can create 2 additional doors with the length of wheelbase they have to work with.

Who knows maybe BMW will make an M4 CSL Swb (Short wheel base)

A Mustang is exactly what I compared it to.
BMW need to employ german car designers to design german cars again
Chris Bangle cocked the whole design concept up for nearly over a decade now.
They need to stop looking at whales for inspiration and look at an E30,36 raise:
And get rid of the sloping roof next time.
