Roll in the hankook, toyo, falken, nankang, and a few others...now these are tyres that are substantially better or equal to the SA house brands that we buy... Its just that our exposure to them has been limited so we react negatively and easily call them crap...
Make your own descision based on value for money and good quantitative reviews from fellow fanatics, I also use the ffg website for reviews..

Have a read through forums like bmwland and see how many people there love the falkens..
Sorry for my disjointed reply, got disturbed 3 times when writing this...:roflol:
exactly my point, i recommend these tires as i have used them

Says who, you! Have you tried Falkens? I know I have and know quiet a few people that have hot hatches that are rolling around on them (these are guys that race).
Because Falken doesnt have a big name on in your eyes doesnt mean they crap.
But as you were.
So you are saying that Falkens can compete with (or offer similar levels of performance) than a Michelin PSS or PSC tire?
As to the other tires mentioned, I have tried Hankooks and Nankang. The Hankook are average, I have tested them against Bridgestone RE050 and the Bridgestones could do 100kph through a corner where the Hankooks would not go faster than 85kph. The Nankangs were sh*t.
