Need some Help

Heys guys is there anybody in JHB Northern that will be able to help me read error codes on my vehicle?

Yesterday while driving back from Durban my Temp Warning came on for a second then turned Red and instantly went off, I immediately switched off and pulled over, started the car again and everything was fine all the way home another 200kms.

I just want to make sure that its not the waterpump or anything else. Cars consumption was excellent yesterday and power was normal.

Any decent mech should be able to read your codes for you. Sakie from S&N AutoService and Leon from FR&R will be able to help. I dont think they will charge for reading the codes. Sakie is closer to you and is a qualified BMW Master Tech.

I stil haven't managed to take the car for diagnostics, shes been running well the last few days, unfortunately I have fractured my arm in the mix so im avoiding driving like the plague, enjoying being chauffeured.

So its 3 weeks later and there is nothing wrong with the water pump :) it seems that I might instead have a slight leak in the cooling system. My car asks me to top up coolant around once a week so hopefully I can get it on a ramp and get somebody to help me confirm my suspicions. :tiptoe:
