N52 Slight RPM Drop

I have a slight rpm drop every now and then when accelerating from a stop or in neutral it happens between 600rpm and 1500rpm.

This happens when warm I haven't had any issues with this car this will be my first and I don't want be throwing the parts cannon at it.

I scanned it with my cheap scanner no codes come up checked the coils no oil leaks or cracks on them.

Sparks plugs and oil service recently done the car has no oil leaks and starts perfectly and drives.

Should I keep driving until I get a code? or head to BMW.

This used to happen on my wife e90 323i. Rev would drop and ecu would kick the revs up again. After cleaning both vanos solenoids the issue was gone.

+1 on the vanos solenoid clean
get there car scanned to see if anything else pops up, could be also just be a dirty fuel filter or an O2 sensor

The fuel filter been thinking about that and these cars don't have any fuel filters one has to change the whole fuel pump.

Update:
Problem came back again after a while with a code P1424 fixing was simple disconnected maf sensor and reconnected again.

I hope it doesn't my research points me to a maf sensor connector block problem caused by a loose connection.

It's really annoying specially at low speeds in traffic <20kmh, so far it's been 3 weeks it hasn't came back including the code.

My take off is smooth without that annoying jerk.
