technical MyBMW app not sending destination to car

I think its dependent on the iDrive version of the car.. I always had to go to messages to set the destination.

I can send directions to BMW via MyBMW App and Google Maps, but it doesn’t pop up automatically on iDrive. I have to go to My Messages on iDrive and select the route.

Is this normal?

Works the same way in my X3. Used to pop up on my 440. Do you have pro nav ?

Interesting, I would also think it should pop up in that case.

Connected driver support is very helpful. Perhaps give them a call.

Tried this today on in my 120d. When I send my trip to the car it's displays in the messages. Open the message and start navigation
