I also did a little tester my steering wheel is missing the leather off the surround, so im thinking about doing the same with the carbon wrap.

A few pics, also wheel colour changed again, silver wheels on silver car so boring so graphite grey spokes deffo the right thing to do, the finish is ok but not concerned about this as they are only reps with caps missing, i will get new wheels at some point.

Well still wasn't happy with the wheels, i really do hate the alpinas so i felt i had to do something a little different so I did the centres silver together with painting the bolts gloss black, while i had the wheels off touched up the calipers in gloss black painted the lip of the discs and the bell housing got some paint on the friction area but this will come off through braking so no big deal for me.

Hope you like and also i took some random shots and unglossed the srs badge hate shiny stuff gloss stuff in the interior.

I got sick of the nose cone it was pitted with stone chips and rust at one end so i took it off and gave it a repaint with a premixed bmw arctic silver can not a great match but not too much of a mismatch either looks great and also i sorted that horrible dint out the front that was on the top of it.

Just need to let the laquer sit and then i can colour sand 1000 grit and then wax.

Spent today changing from 15w 40 to the correct 5w 40 and i still was'nt happy with the bonnet alignment so took my time making the gaps between the wings an equal amount as one side had a big gap and the other didnt have a gap.

S3700020-1.jpg

S3700019-2.jpg

and now also see the curviture of the bonnet into the wing its pretty much there now well close as i can get it heres the passenger side almost perfect

S3700018-2.jpg

and the drivers perfect.

S3700017-3.jpg

and a front shot

S3700021-2.jpg

Going to take her for a spin in a little while see if the oil change made a difference to performance etc.
