Will get you a new LUK clutch kit for R3k and R1500 to install.

Despite the Good deal and dont get me Wrong Fuz posted a link to Gdrives website and i saw the amounts for the Cluthkit and Flywheel . All LUK products.

Ross said he refuses to put LUK products due to previous customers complaining that 2 -3 Months after this was replaced the Thrust Bearing Disintegrated, he must have had a very bad experience with them. They will only use OEM parts

No offense to anyone or any dealer.

I do not have first hand experience with any of the Products in the above mentioned so i can not commend. Thanks GIZMO at least now i Know for Sure that it is the Thrust bearing and Clutch and not the Flywheel.

So i will be Paying 8K + or - for the replacement seeing that they only charge me 1.5k labor. and Then the 130k Service for my car is sorted also. Oil change Diesel Filter, Air Filter, Oil Filter and i Supply my Own Oil.

Chances are they are buying a LUK kit and charging you the dealer price. LUK is the OEM manufacturer for allot of BMW clutches so I doubt there is a quality issue. As to the thrust bearings which "disintegrate" apparently, everyone knows that the bearings you get with the kits are crap. Buy the thrust bearing from BMW and the LUK kit from Gizmo and let him do the job. If you take the service into account they charge you R1400 for draining oil and replacing three filters. This sounds crazy expensive.
