So update time, this time on the suspension side of this. Got a itch to change the anti-roll bars, so I scratched the itch with a set of H&R anti-roll bars.

Comparison shots between the stock (sport) and the H&R bars:

Also changed the front links while I was at it and also because one of the ball joint boots had started to crack:

Front and rear fitted:

I would recommend front of full stiff and rear on full soft for maximum grip :)

any feedback on how it corners yet

Actually have them set full hard front and rear, seems to be very well balanced this way as far as I can tell so far.

Regarding how it corners, it does it phenomenally.

If its worth doing, its worth overdoing.

Full stiff all round FTW :)

Meh...It corners almost like a Mazda now:tiptoe::rollsmile:

Only because he has the wrong tyres on the car. A set of Bridgestone RE-55s will sort that out. :fencelook:

Nice Johannes.

suppose my car is a little different because I run a square tire setup :)

Might be, that said I can't say its the best, but the stock balance has be retained ad that for me is a good thing.

Perhaps you should refrain from fitting an LS, because that will be the day I start pestering about selling.

I can be very persistent as you might know by now:sneaky:

It has almost been a year since my last update, so I guess it it is high time for exactly that, some updates.

While I had the windscreen replaced I removed the trim from the the A-pillars as the liner on it was coming loose. Seems to be a pretty common issue with e46 as they are now getting on the old side.
The loose liner:

And fixed:
IMG_20150616_172403_zpszcrucwpo.jpg

Had a photoshoot together with a friend and his 330i, couple of shots from the shoot:

More photos can be found here.

The third brakelight was rattling, so I removed it to sort out the rattle and to give it a good clean while I was at it.

I decided that I wanted a bit of a change in wheels, so I picked up a set of Style 44's.
IMG_20151021_114917_zpslovpsnav.jpg

Went for these as I have always like the look of this style of wheel, also 17 inch tires are also considerably cheaper than 18 inch ones, and the small matter that even though they are 17's they still fit over my brakes.

Cleaned off the mounting surfaces of the wheels prior to them being sent in for refurbishment.

IMG_20151025_130912_zps2p1oikcm.jpg

IMG_20151025_130914_zpskeys0n7a.jpg

I do this as the mounting surface it the main reference when they will use to determine the straightness (or lack thereof) of the wheels.

Weighed the wheels, because reasons.

Wheels after the refurbishment.
IMG_20151107_150409_zpsxtcww4b8.jpg

One night while I was driving home the cluster Christmas tree'ed on me....turned out to be the voltage regulator that had packed up, so replaced it.
IMG_20151207_181322_zpsypl0ko8p.jpg

IMG_20151207_182455_zpschlynjhd.jpg

Then finally got some tires for the style 44's.
IMG_20160212_184955_zpsqlzosveh.jpg

They are 4 x 245/40's Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's

Had the tires fitted and gave the wheel arches a clean before fitting the wheels.

IMG_0183_zpsttf2elgd.jpg

I changed the resonance flap in the intake, no issues with the old one, just did it as a preventative measure.
Old one out:

Old and new:
IMG_20160320_110435_zpsvt7xe2b9.jpg

IMG_20160320_110444_zps4lekap2u.jpg

New one in:
IMG_20160320_110918_zpsgzkbfifd.jpg

Inspection of the old showed that it had a little bit of shaft play, but the seal and vacuum pot were still working as they should.

Stripped the front bumper and most of its plastics off and cleaned everything:

(The "Because drift car" look)

The second reason the bumper was off so that I could get to this:

And it only took almost 5 years :)

Also had an issue with the fuel gauge not reporting the correct amount of fuel, so took out the two fuel level senders and fixed this issue.
