took the car to the strip on friday eve
best i managed was a 14.1... i really need to work on getting the car off the line a bit better....
runs were as follows:
did a 14.5 first run
14.1
15.1 bogged on the line and missed 3rd gear
14.8 bogged again
then a 14.6
had lekker fun....just need to my launch sorted practice makes perfect

i entered to saldanha topend drags next week will see watch she does

This all with the oversized turbo? I think its a great start!must be an absolute hoot to drive!

got some new goodies for the rolla
we planning on locking the vvt to help with better spool up
so im removing the vvt gear and had this vernier made up
made up a new plenum as well, the previous started cracking when we turned up the boost
managed to get my hands on garrett dual ball bearing :ka-boom:

should spool up much faster with the new additions
hoping to fit everything next week, waiting for the engineering shops to open on monday

thanks, im quite amped myself, im not really expecting a huge jump in peak power... im hoping for better power delivery, quicker spool up, better throttle response etc. At the moment she is quite laggy:yuck: so i need to keep the revs upgavsadler said:

some pics from s2s 2 weeks ago
it was extremely misty and the strip was a bit damp
struggled abit with traction, tried a couple of different launching techniques managed 2 13.8sec runs (best i've done so far)
she feels as if she's got more in her though i just need to get off the line a bit better!
