My new toy - M6

The sound from that engine is insane! Love the M6, but don't like the SMG box :-(

If it has Dynamic Drive I would get it on a lift and check out the front stabilizer bar. It is almost guaranteed to be leaking oil.

I noticed in the pics you don't have the clip-in cup holder installed? Did your car not come with one? It is the most expensive cup holder in the world (over R10k) but I have mine from the 645 still lying around at home. You are welcome to collect it if you are in Jozie :)

Many happy miles bud!

Go out and go buy new big end and small end bearings, they are actually very cheap.

I think you meant Main bearings and big ends....

Small ends needs the piston out in order to get the gudgeon pin out

Quotes have been sourced and we will schedule bearing work in the very near future.

The car is really clean and drives very smoothly with an immense amount of torque.

Thanks so much man.

I bought it without a cupholder, but found it in the back console still brand new. So that was a big score

Thanks so much to everyone for the congratulations! So for I am extremely happy with the car, love the light up door sills at night, can't stop playing with the keyless entry, and most off all the power and the roar of the engine. Just seriously need to get an aux input. Still finding new features as I go along which is awesome.

One thing I can honestly say though, the 330s M steering wheel felt better, thicker and buttons was placed better, but not a big issue.

I did a diy on creating an AUX cable for the 6er. U will need to have it coded (and to enable mp3 etc if not already done) which I would be happy to assist with :)

There's only one button you need to worry about. The little one tha says "M" on it. It's a very different car when that button is engaged. Mine goes from being a nice cruiser to being an absolute animal.

Congrats and enjoy. Treat her nice and she'll look after you for a long time. I've had mine for a year and it still puts a stupid grin on my face.

id probably get locked up in a car like this, and yes that M button would be permanently ON.

 the only reason I don't drive with mine permanently on is because back tyres are expensive....:roflol:

You do make a very valid point. I have to say though I have only driven with the M button once. Still getting familiar with the handling of the car before I go ape

It's a big GT car so don't think you'll be setting blistering times around a track! But on a long cruise, stick it in 7th and go. When you want to overtake just press M button and put your foot down. The dynamics of the ride with EDC set in sport mode (two lights on EDC button) and paddle shifting in setting 5, even without M mode it's a very engaging drive. M mode just scares you. Lol.

We can meet up sometime if you keen and discuss the little tricks. PM if you're keen. Mines just kinda collecting dust at the moment.
