So here is my first wash in 2 months, car was standing as I did a CIC retrofit. The CIC unit makes a world of a difference in the car.

This place is by far the best carwash I have ever been to, they take their time to handwash the cars and wash every nook and cranny. A long wait but worth it.

Was it a mission doing the retrofit?

Not realy such a PITA, but what was a mission was coding the combox. Since the e63/e60 never had the combox I had to create an SSD file, which simply means it's a hybrid between an e90 and e60 daten file. Still some little niggles to sort out otherwise it works amazingly. Only biggest hurdle is fitting the nee controller. Still waiting for a new centre console to fit it properly.

As for the sound clip. Phone doesn't make nice sound clips so will see what I can do [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

When I purchase my beemer I wont waste time bringing it to you haha, cic system is a great improvement from the CCC. I know for a fact its something I will want done.

It is truly a world of a difference and certainly worth the money. On any other car this would be a breeze to install, can do it withing a couple of hours. Just getting programming done on the e60/e63 with stuff that was never meant for it is the issue, but noe that I know hoe it's easy
