So I am back to running the stock twins again. Not cool
So far I have had almost every turbo configuration available for the n54 platform.
Stock twins, Hybrid twins, Bottom mount, Top mount.

The only thing I can think of doing next is custom Twin GenII GTX2867R's.
Time will tell....

Car wasn't being used. So no point having all that potential. Too be perfectly honest I was bored with the power. I don't think I want to continue with the n54 platform. I may just look getting a b58 later on, once they start coming off motor plan. Part of me want to strap a golf 5 gti motor to a go kart and go crazy. Time will tell.

I have been running the car daily for the past month. So far so good.
I ran into a few issues, not with the turbos. The final(I pray) issue is with a new 3.5bar map sensor. Either the sensor or the adapter is damaged. The stock sensor works perfectly.
We dyno'd the car at 15psi on the stock BMS Pump flash and made 404whp.
To make that power on our dyno with stock turbos you need at least 22psi plus FBO + inlets. The key difference between the two cars is where it makes the power. At 6400rpm the Hybrids make 80+ more hp than a stock turbo car.
I benchmarked the Z against a 405whp stock turbo n54 335. At 15psi the 335i was left behind like he was looking for parking.
At 17psi target I put down 435whp on the stock BMS pump flash.
I have been road logging the car so far and it holds 21psi to the redline.
I have over 200 3rd and 4th gear pulls to the redline now.
The goal is to hit the 500whp mark reliably. I am pretty sure that will be more than possible at 22-23psi giving the logs. Once we starting building a custom flash for the car we should see further gains.
What surprised me most about the hybrids is how relentless they are. I expected to the power to drop a little after 6000rpm but they just kept going to the redline. It's not as aggressive as a single turbo but very similar.

We are not going for the hybrid power records with this set. There are many more powerful sets of hybrids on the market which are performing well.
Our goal was to create a middle ground between our stock turbo cars and our single turbo monsters.

Package information will be available soon.

KrS24, what happen to this?? did it ever get on the market here?? is it a bigger hybrid set or just hybrid stock turbos ( i assume) it seems to be reliable to some degree if you did 200 WOT runs till redline without problems. That must be at least (1000-2000kms) and they were still fine? what whp did you get on 21psi? if it made 80whp over stock turbos at 15psi on pump gas. Did you ever run that setup on 21 psi with a e30 blend?
sorry for all the questions.
thanks
