Paid under 2k for it. Not to bad considering they wanted R4300 for the CCC update.

Keep in mind that the 2016 UPDATES are out already

Saw this car on Saturday night

Mod on the car so far:

10mm spacers in the front.
15mm spacers in the back.
Sport antenna.

Short term to do:
Black out the wheels
Colour match (Black Sapphire metallic) the Mirror caps, kidney grills and bottom vents
Still considering lowering the car

It will look similar to the LCI spec Z4

Yeah that's mines. I put it on to gauge interest. So far just tyre kickers. On a serious note I am also considering leaving country. The property is also on the market. Just trying to be a agile as I possibly can during these tough economic times.

Agree Chris...business is really tough these days...we need to be creative and explore our options. The exchange rate are also not doing us any favours.

+1 I just wish we had more local options available. It's not just business but individuals as well who are feeling the brunt off the weak exchange rate and interest rate hikes. I do hope as a result of the poor economic conditions our local manufacturing industry is stimulated. But this is a discussion for another thread.

I got a chance to strap the car down and dyno it.

1st Run:
Mods: BMS Intake only
Result: 200.2 wkw

2nd Run:
Mods: BMS Intake + JB4 Map 5 with E50
Result: 261.7 wkw

The car did run a bit lean on the 2nd run. This is a common problem on the Z4 35i with high Eth to Pump fuel ratios. It is easily fixed with a backend flash. Considering the car is still on MP I don't have the luxury. I will be experimenting with different mixes to try and work around the problem.

Since the Dyno i have been running the car with 10% eth and there are no issues with the AFR's.

I don't have any plans on targeting higher power numbers until the down pipes are made.

The car is still for sale. So haven't done much. I managed to sort out AFR issue.
I have a Charge Pipe, Bov, FMIC, Stage 2 LPFP, Meth Kit, Oil Catch can and a few other mods collecting dust. The car will need a Carbon clean soon.

Leon is under the impression that I will never sell the car. So much so he has kept a 700hp turbo aside for me.

If I ever decide to keep the car, The BT setup will be very different compared to the e92. I am going to take full advantage of the extra space in the engine bay.

One thing is for sure, if you decide to BT that machine you are going to struggle for traction even more than I am :roflol:
