Compliments of the season fanatics, 1st post of 2013...

2012 did not end off on such a good note with my ///Mistress, the fuel pump decided to give up on life right when every1 and every place is closed.

However found a replacement for a good price over the wkend and decided to fit myself with the help of my cousin's husband who is a mechanic luckily, so he brought is awesome toolbox along:joy:

So she's alive again, unfortunately all my gauges except for the speedometer is working, so back to the auto electrician this wk to get that sorted.

I did however also manage to fill those gaps OSIRIS reminded me about, this pic is jst for u buddy

Nicely done, looks much better!

I hope you come right with the dials and hopefully its not something major!

Did you sort the exhaust out, it was hanging at a funny angle in one of the pics?

Exhaust hasn't been sorted yet, I think powerflow in CPT opens up this wk or next wk.

So I was a busy guy this past weekend and my ///Mistress got pay-day wkend treatment...

I'll start off by saying this, the purists will not agree with what I have done, however it's still a working process, so this is not the final finish, because even tho it looks INSANE, it's not exactly what I'm going for, but let the pics to the talking....

Bigups to the Capestance guys for the help with setting of the coilies:ty:

Like I said before, I'm not happy with the look, so a bit more research, calculations & head scratching to be done before I'm entirely satisfied, as I ultimately would like the cars stance to look like this with the standard rim setup

So it's been a while since I update this thread, as it's progress has been slow...

As the pic below shows, my exhaust is hanging
IMG-20121216-00044_zps83afe915.jpg

First I thought it was rubber and exhaust mount that just need replacing, which I purchased from the agents. However after further inspection we found that broken engine mounting peg & rusted subframe was actually the main reason why the exhaust is hanging:nonono:

IMG-20130218-00102_zpsc5d57d54.jpg

How lucky am I that this never happened while I was driving at high speed
IMG-20130218-00104_zpsb56e81dc.jpg

Repaired before, but poorly
IMG-20130218-00103_zpsc1762243.jpg

Heat shield damaged cos of the strain I suppose
IMG-20130218-00105_zps0a1ee786.jpg

Also while under the car we discovered that exhaust middle section is messed, both boxes are rusted. However I managed to source an OEM middle section for next to nothing as the agents charge 10k for it.

That pinched pipe will be repaired

So hoping to get the car back this wkend:joy:

Thanks for looking:thumbs:
