What's it feel like going from the E39 M5 to the E46. I'd be hard pressed to choose between them, as they are both epic cars.

\Honestly , one cannot compare the 2 cars, if you do then the M3 is very disappointing compared to the M5 , M5 is in its own class, one of BMW's Finest examples ..... Power , comfort, handling etc.

If you haven't owned a M5 before purchasing a M3 then the M3 is impressive in its own class.
Unfortunately I have had a M5 before so the M3 is mediocre at most.

So the question is.

Have to disagree here, I've owned an E39 M5 and then later two E46 M3's, I'm not saying the E46 M3 is better than the E39 M5, but they both excel in most aspects and then outdo the other in one or two areas. Handling the E46 is definitely a step above the E39, especially in a track type environment and most situations on the road. E39 is more of a hooligan type car, just the sound puts a smile on your face.

Just saying in my opinion, they are much closer matched!

Bumper cover must have been replaced at some stage. USA one was sourced, possibly by accident not knowing about those hideous reflectors.

As you read below , Gizmo doesnt like the reflectors, i actually do like the look of them and i got them from BMW and fitted them, , bumper cover was not replaced.
