No it was not painted, they came with the option as R!yo mentioned... in my opinion the black would have looked better... not sure why BMW speced it like this, as this was a demo model... But then again i shouldnt complain as the other options are worth while, Like heated seats, heated steering wheel, high beam assist, hi-fi sound.... its very rarely you find a highly speced demo...
